Join us as we study God’s word with Pastor Wayne Wilson as we walk through the study of 1st Corinthians. Found in the New Testament, the letter is written by the apostle Paul to the church in Corinth, a city in ancient Greece. In this letter, Paul addresses various issues and concerns within the Corinthian church, including divisions among the believers, immorality, lawsuits among believers, marriage and singleness, spiritual gifts, and the resurrection of the dead. Throughout the letter, Paul emphasizes the importance of unity, love, and living according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. He encourages the Corinthians to live holy and righteous lives, to use their spiritual gifts for the common good, and to remain steadfast in their faith despite challenges and opposition. The overarching theme of 1 Corinthians is the call for believers to live in harmony with one another and to reflect the love and character of Christ in all aspects of their lives.
