Sol graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Occupational Health from California State University, Northridge before going on to work for the LA County Environmental Health Department. It was there that he met and eventually married his wife Wanda in 2001. He currently works for the LA County Fire Department as a Hazardous Materials Specialist.
He has served as an elder at AFBC since 2014 and currently teaches adult Sunday School and oversees the Deaconess Board.
